Red October’s production remains stable in March
Production at Russia’s Krasny Oktyabr (Red October) remained flat on-year at 17,500 tonnes in March, Kallanish notes.
Finished rolled products output amounted to 13,500t and around 4,000t of steel were exported.
Red October managed to maintain its leading position in the production of stainless steel in 2021; moreover, it had a 35.6% share in Russian stainless exports, national special steel association USSA said earlier.
