Red October’s production decreases slightly in December
Production at Russia’s Red October (Krasny Oktyabr) decreased slightly in December, the company says. It amounted to 24,400 tonnes, down by -0.7% on-year.
Finished rolled products output amounted to 12,000t, and around 3,900t of steel were exported.
In November steel output was 25,100t (see Kallanish passim).
The Volgograd-based steelmaker produced 207,990t of stainless steel in 2020, up by 2% on-year.
