Red October’s production decreases in December
Production at Russia’s Krasny Oktyabr (Red October) decreased further in December, the company says. It amounted to 17,600 tonnes of stainless steel, down by 35.6% on-year, Kallanish notes.
Finished rolled products output amounted to 13,600t, and around 4,000t of steel were exported.
In November, stainless output was 16,900t, down by 37.3% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
