Red October ramps up stainless flats production
Russia’s Krasny Oktyabr (Red October) steelworks has increased stainless flat steel production since the beginning of the year, the company says.
Production in January-November amounted to 12,100 tonnes, up by 24.6% on-year, Kallanish notes. Today, Red October’s share in Russia’s production of stainless flat products is 64.3%, which is 23.3 percentage points more than in the same period last year, the enterprise claims.
