Red October increases stainless production in June
Production at Russia’s Red October (Krasny Oktyabr) increased in June, the company says. It amounted to 24,900 tonnes of stainless steel, up by 13.4% on-year, Kallanish notes.
Red October managed not only to maintain its leading position in June, but also to increase its share of stainless steel production in Russia to 40.1%, according to national special steel association USSA.
