Red October increases stainless output with furnace overhaul
Russia’s Krasny Oktyabr (Red October) has restarted heat-treatment furnaces No.9 and No.10 in the rolled processing shop following large-scale repairs, the company says.
Thanks to the measures taken, there is now sufficient thermal capacity for carrying out special treatment, which prevents the formation of flakes and the appearance of cracks in the rolled products, the enterprise claims.
