Red October eyes stainless export increase in 2022
Russia’s Krasny Oktyabr (Red October) steelworks plans to increase stainless steel exports in 2022, the company says.
It foresees export deliveries in the first half of next year at 17,000 tonnes and exceeding 20,000t by the end of 2022, Kallanish notes.
In October the company produced 12,500t of stainless steel, down by 51.2% on-year. Finished rolled products output amounted to 9,600t, and around 2,900t of steel were exported.
