Red October continues to increase stainless output
Production at Russia’s Krasny Oktyabr (Red October) increased in the first half of the year, the company says. It amounted to 88,750 tonnes of stainless steel, up by 46.5% on-year, Kallanish notes.
Red October managed to maintain its leading position in the production of stainless steel in H1. Moreover, it had a 22.4% share in Russian stainless exports, according to national special steel association USSA.
