Raspadskaya mine eyes 5.5mt output this year
Russian coking coal miner Raspadskaya, part of steelmaker Evraz, reached a significant mark in coking coal production in January-April, the company says.
The enterprise mined 2 million tonnes of coal from two mining sites, Kallanish notes, of which 1mt was from site no.32.
Another contribution to the overall production of the mine was also made by site no.17, which produced over 750,000t of coal. In April, miners completed the longwall and began reassembling…
