New Raspadskaya longwall coal output supplies CIS, Asia

Russian miner and steelmaker Evraz's metallurgical coal mining arm Raspadskaya has begun mining at the new 4-10-31 longwall with exploitable coking coal reserves of 3.5 million tonnes. Mining volumes are initially expected to total up to 180,000 t/month of coal, subsequently increasing to 250,000-300,000t, the company says.
