Rajhi's Jeddah mill boosts productivity
The Daniel-supplied rebar and wire rod mill at Rajhi Steel in Saudi Arabia produced 101,036 tonnes in March and 286,312t in the first quarter, thereby posting record productivity, the technology supplier says.
The Jeddah-based rolling mill is designed to produce up to 1 million tonnes/year of 10-40mm diameter rebar and 5.5-16mm dia wire rod in low-, medium- and high-carbon steels.
