Qatar Steel's 2022 sales grow, prices drop
Industries Qatar (IQ)’s steel segment combined production of all products increased by 31% on-year in 2022 to 3.98 million tonnes. Sales rose 14% to 1.83mt, from 1.6mt in 2021.
IQ owes 100% of Qatar Steel Company and its Dubai-based re-rolling subsidiary Qatar Steel Company FZE, 25% of Foulath Holding in Bahrain and 31.03% of Solb Steel Company in Saudi Arabia.
