Qatar Steel capacity remains mothballed, appoints new ceo
Qatar Steel continues to believe the possibility of restarting its mothballed plants in the short term is low to none. The steel business remained vulnerable to postponements of infrastructure and capital expenditure projects, but there was an on-quarter improvement in third-quarter performance.
The steelmaker reported a net income of QAR 26.1 million ($7.17m) and Ebitda of QAR 44.2m in Q3.
