Italian car production tumbles in first quarter
Italian passenger car production declined significantly in March and in the first quarter, Kallanish notes from local carmakers association Associazione Nazionale Filiera Industria Automobilistica (Anfia) preliminary data.
Car output fell year-on-year by as much as 31.3% in March to 38,958 units, and by 21.1% on-year in January-March to 112,334 units.
By comparison, German two-month output declined by 5% to 674.900 units, and by 15% to 372,800 cars in March.…
