Eurozone manufacturing PMI hits six-year high in Q1
The Eurozone manufacturing PMI index published by Markit reached a six-year high in the first quarter, at an average level of 55.6. This was the highest level since Q1 2011, Kallanish notes.
The recovery has gathered pace since the beginning of this year; March recorded a 71-month high at 56.2, up from 55.4 in February.
