Put-in-place construction spending falls in May
A 0.2% gain in value of put-in-place construction spending in the US residential construction sector during May was offset by a 0.7% decline in non-residential put-in-place construction spending, resulting in a 0.3% decline in value for total construction work in the US during the month, Kallanish reports.
