PSA looks to ramp up vehicle production in France
French car maker PSA Peugeot Citroen has confirmed its intention to produce 1 million vehicles made in France by the end of 2016, a union representative tells Kallanish.
During a meeting this week PSA told the unions it is implementing production of at least one new model in each of its assembly plants over the period 2014-2016. The carmaker gave an assurance that the current production levels at all its facilities will be maintained and improved.
