Peugeot Citroën boosts production in Europe
French car-maker PSA Peugeot Citroën has increased its output in Europe by over 100,000 units compared to its 60,000 units target for this year, a source close to the company tells Kallanish.
With the production boost, PSA passed the level of 1.8 million units produced in Europe and returned to its output levels of 2011. The production hike was implemented to satisfy this year’s increasing European car demand, the source says.
