German fabricators' production declines
Steel and metal processing companies in Germany suffered again in the third quarter from the politically-induced global uncertainties of investors and car buyers. Compared with the prior-year quarter, production declined by just under -7%, Kallanish learns from their federation, WSM. For the year through September, the decline amounts to -3.9%, it says.
