Primtetals supplies new rebar mill to Philippines
London-headquartered steel industry plant and equipment supplier Primetals Technologies tells Kallanish that it has won a contract to supply a new bar rolling mill to Capitol Steel in the Philippines.
The new mill will be installed in Capitol’s plant in Quezon City and will produce around 500,000 tonnes/year of rebar in diameters from 8-50mm. Diameters up to 12mm will be rolled in multi-slit mode.
