Primetals upgrades Magang cold rolling mill
London-headquartered technology supplier Primetals Technologies tells Kallanish that it has completed a cold rolling mill upgrade at China’s Magang.
The mill at the Ma’anshan production site represents the first upgrade to a so-called Hyper Universal Crown (UC)-mill worldwide and was officially inaugurated in August, Primetals confirms. The order was originally placed in April 2017.
