Primetals/Tata Steel commission new IJmuiden continous caster automation
Primetals Technologies and Tata Steel Europe have successfully completed the commissioning of a new automation system for continuous caster CC21 at the Ijmuiden plant, in the Netherlands, the technology supplier tells Kallanish.
The new system was commissioned completely online and replaces existing automation solution to improve performances.
