Post-holiday demand rises, market watches raw materials: Irepas
Global long steel demand is picking up after the holiday period, with Section 232 “practically over”, the Covid-19 pandemic potentially nearing its end, and bottlenecks, such as breakbulk freight, easing, says the International Rebar Exporters and Producers Association (Irepas).
The market is watching how raw material prices will settle now that China is back to the market, but indications so far appear positive.
