Posco to test CCU technology for carbon neutrality
South Korean steelmaker Posco on Friday said that it would test the feasibility of a carbon capture and utilisation (CCU) technology, Kallanish notes. This is expected to eliminate 320,000 tonnes of carbon emissions per year from its steelmaking process, according to a report in Korea Herald,.
