Posco to develop hyperloop tubes with Tata
South Korean steelmaker Posco has agreed with Tata Steel Europe to develop steel tubes used for high-speed hyperloop transportation systems, Kallanish notes.
Tata Steel Europe says the innovative steel concepts will be used to create a hyperloop. This is a tube big enough to carry a passenger or freight pod able to travel at more than 1,000 kilometres/hour while using very little energy.
