Posco prepares for Pohang blast furnace reline
South Korea’s Posco expects to expand the capacity of the No. 3 blast furnace at its Pohang steelworks. The expansion will result in its fifth blast furnace with an internal volume over 5,500 cubic metres, Kallanish notes.
