Posco opens hydrogen reduction steel center
South Korean steelmaker Posco last Friday 26 January opened a research and development (R&D) centre for hydrogen reduction of steel at its Pohang plant.
This is the steel plant's preliminary preparation to promote its HyREX (Hydrogen Reduction) steelmaking process.
