Posco may settle NSSMC silicon steel dispute
Korean media has reported that Posco intends to settle a long-running dispute with Japan’s Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) over patents for grain-oriented silicon steel production (Goes). The two mills have not confirmed any such move and the saga may continue, but the report appears to mark a win for NSSMC, Kallanish notes.
