Posco delays plant recovery to 2023
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) of South Korea has revealed the impact of Typhoon Hinnamnor on local steel producer Posco Steel.
Posco expects to see KRW 2.4 trillion ($1.8 billion) of lost sales after the floods hit, according to the mid-term findings reported by the "Steel Supply and Demand Survey Team" of MOTIE. The disruption in sales to companies supplying Posco is expected to be around KRW 250 billion.
