Port Hedland iron ore shipments fall in April
Iron ore shipments from Port Hedland in Western Australia slipped 1.02% to 49.57 million tonnes in April, from 50.08mt in March, dragged by lower exports to key markets like China and Japan, Kallanish notes.
According to Pilbara Ports Authority data, the port's iron ore shipments rose 14.57% as compared to 43.27mt a year ago.
