Port Hedland monthly ore shipments dip in February
Australia’s Port Hedland saw iron ore exports dip again month-on-month but rise year-on-year in February, Kallanish notes. Cargoes to China followed the same pattern.
Cargoes to China from Port Hedland in February were 33,456,073 tonnes versus 35,140,885t in January. Average daily shipments to China were 1,397,695t in the month. Both values are well up y-o-y despite the m-o-m fall in each case.
