Port Hedland iron ore shipments uptick in April
Australia’s Port Hedland saw iron ore shipments uptick very slightly year-on-year in April 2018, Kallanish notes. The Pilbara, Western Australian shipping terminal saw cargoes also rise slightly from March to once again hit the highest volume so far this year.
April cargoes to China were 1.3 million tonnes higher on-year with shipments grossing 36,148,685 tonnes compared to 34,859,473t during the same month in 2017.
