Port Hedland iron ore shipments slip back in October

October saw a fall back in both Chinese and consequently global shipments of iron ore from Port Hedland according to statistics released by the Port Authority and monitored by Kallanish. Despatches returned to levels last seen in the first months of 2014. Total October iron ore shipments dipped from those in September to 36,521,001 tonnes, a month-on-month decrease of -7.3%.
