Port Hedland iron ore shipments rise in May
Iron ore shipments from Port Hedland in Western Australia rose 4.78% to 51.94 million tonnes in May, from 49.57mt in April, underpinned by higher exports to China, Kallanish notes.
According to Pilbara Ports Authority data, the port's iron ore shipments increased by 7.84% as compared to 48.17mt a year ago.
