Port Hedland iron ore shipments hit new high
Australia’s Port Hedland iron ore shipments grew in May to the highest monthly volume ever exported from the terminal, Kallanish notes. The Pilbara, Western Australian port saw monthly cargoes rise above the 44 million-tonne mark for the first time ever, based of course on another record month for Chinese exports.
