Port Hedland iron ore shipments hit new record
Australia’s Port Hedland smashed more records for its iron ore shipments in 2018, Kallanish notes. The Pilbara, Western Australian port saw annual cargoes surge to the highest-ever as shipments to China did likewise. December shipments from the port were the second highest for any month in 2018.
