Port Hedland iron ore shipments grow in March
Australia’s Port Hedland increased its iron ore shipments year-on-year again in March 2018, Kallanish notes. The Pilbara, Western Australian shipping terminal saw cargoes rise to the highest volume so far this year.
March cargoes to China were 3.8 million tonnes higher on-year with shipments grossing 34,965,435 tonnes compared to 31,903,573t during the same month in 2017.
