Polish coal exporter to restart heavy plate mill
Weglokoks has signed a letter of intent with two partners to re-launch production at heavy plate re-roller Walcownia Blach Grubych Batory (WBG), Poland’s largest coal exporter tells Kallanish.
The two partners are steel distributor Centrala Zaopatrzenia Hutnictwa (CZH) and Zaklad Konstrukcji Spawanych (ZKS) Ferrum. The latter is the structural steel fabricator subsidiary of welded pipemaker Ferrum. Slab feedstock for WBG will be sourced from ArcelorMittal …
