Poland's Huta Labedy inaugurates pipe mill

Polish sections producer Huta Labedy has inaugurated its new PLN 204 million ($51.7m) pipemaking business unit, Kallanish learns from the subsidiary of Poland’s largest coal exporter, Weglokoks. The unit comprises a 100,000 tonnes/year high frequency welded (HFW) pipe mill. It produces 114.3-323.9mm diameter pipe of L555 (X80) grade steel, up to 12.7mm in wall thickness.
