Pittini restarts melting and rolling
Long steel producer Pittini Group has restarted its hot-end areas and rolling lines, after the temporary stoppage implemented last Friday due to high energy costs, Kallanish notes.
The stoppage impacted the hot-end area of the Osoppo, Verano and Potenza mills between 25 and 28 February. Rolling mills at the sites restarted on 2 March.
