Pipe Logix: Line pipe prices increase
Average US line pipe prices increased by 2.2% from April to May, led by a steep increase in import prices, Kallanish learns from data analyst Pipe Logix.
The average combined domestic and import price reached in May was $1,970/short ton, up from $1,927/st in April.
Domestic prices increased by 1.3% to $2,233/st, while import prices increased 3.5% to $1,708/st.
