Pipe Logix: Average line pipe prices slipping
Average US line pipe prices slid -0.8% or $10/short ton in May, largely as a result of falling domestic prices.
Analytics company Pipe Logix tells Kallanish that domestic line pipe prices fell -1.5% to about $1,500/st, while import prices increased about 0.3% to $899/st, yielding a calculated average US price of about $1,200/st.
