Peru’s December iron ore output falls from highs
Peru’s December iron ore output dropped below 1 million tonnes after four consecutive months above this figure, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, iron ore output reached 980,129 tonnes in December. This volume was -17.3% lower over November and -16.4% less year-on-year.
