Peru's SHP increases iron ore production in May
Iron ore producer Shougang Hierro Peru (SHP) saw its output increase year-on-year in June, Kallanish learns from monthly data issued by Peru’s mines and energy ministry.
Peru's sole iron ore producer produced 816,711 tonnes in May, 15.9% more than the same month of 2016. Cumulative January-May production reached 3.77 million tonnes, up by 9.1% year-on-year.
