Peru`s SHP to double 2019 iron ore production
Shougang Hierro Peru (SHP) will produce around 17 million tonnes of iron ore in 2019, general manager Raul Vera La Torre says in local media reports monitored by Kallanish. This volume will almost double SHP’s 2018 output when the miner extracted nearly 9.1mt of product. SHP is Peru’s sole iron ore producer.
