Peru’s July iron ore production slips
Peruvian iron ore production fell on-month in July. Output, however, was slightly up compared to the same period in 2021, Kallanish notes.
The country's iron ore output surpassed 1 million tonnes in July for the fifth consecutive month. According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, output was 1.15mt during the month.
This volume was 1.4% less over June but up 0.3% compared to July 2021.
