Peru’s iron ore output rises in February
Peru’s iron ore production increased year-on-year in February. Output was also higher year-to-date, according to the latest mines and energy ministry (MEM) data monitored by Kallanish.
“The country’s iron production recorded a strong February,” says MEM. “The substantial growth was supported by the higher production of Shougang Hierro Perú CPS1 mining unit in Marcona.”
