Peru's iron ore output recovers in June
Peruvian iron ore production increased year-on-year in June. Year-to-date output, however, remained down over the first half of 2018, according to the latest data issued by the country's mines and energy ministry (MEM), monitored by Kallanish.
“During June national iron ore production was boosted by the higher output of Shougang Hierro Perú (SHP) after the miner completed the building of its new beneficiation plant,” MEM says.
