Peru’s iron ore output improves on-month in January

Peruvian iron ore production increased sequentially in January but was down on-year, Kallanish notes. According to the latest Peruvian mines and energy ministry (Minem) report, iron ore output reached almost 795,348 tonnes during the first month of 2022.
