Peru’s iron ore output grows year-on-year in October
Peru’s iron ore production increased year-on-year in October. Year-to-date output, however, remained down, according to the latest mines and energy ministry (MEM) data monitored by Kallanish.
“The country’s iron production recorded a strong October,” says MEM. “The substantial growth was supported by the higher production of Shougang Hierro Perú CPS1 mining unit in Marcona.”
